Vom 30. September bis zum 2. Oktober 2009 findet in Bukarest in Rumänien das 4. Cybermental Festival statt. Das Festival trägt den Untertitel „the romanian electro/industrial multimedia-madness festival“ – das ist doch mehr als passend für einen Auftritt unserer drei Anstaltsbewohner! Neben den beiden Lüneburger Acts KiEw und 13th Monkey, sind auch Soman und Roger Rotor, sowie eine große Auswahl bekannter und interessanter rumänischer Projekte dabei. Cybermental is listed as „the romanian electro/industrial multimedia-madness festival“ – a perfect theme for the show of our three asylum inhabitants! Besides our local heroes from Lüneburg, KiEw and 13th Monkey, also Soman and Roger Rotor and lots of well-known and fantastic romanian projects will play at the festival. Wie üblich sitzt uns der Zeit- und Termindruck im Nacken, deshalb möchte ich an dieser Stelle heute auch gar nicht lang therapeutisch herumpalavern. Ihr müsst Euch auch nicht auf die Couch legen (könnt Ihr aber gern, wenn Ihr das gemütlicher findet und Ihr dieses Geschreibsel eh auf einem Eurer kleinen Smartphones lest).
Um es kurz zu machen – wir verplanen Euer Wochenende, damit ihr nicht verplant suchend in der Gegend herumirren müsst! Für die Leser aus der Eventregion ist das ja eh keine Frage, für alle anderen halten die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel bestimmt eine Variante bereit, an die Orte des Geschehens zu gelangen – oder ihr tut Euch mit ein paar Leidensgenossen zusammen und fahrt mal wieder selber mit dem Auto, man muss sich ja nicht immer die Birne dichtknallen und für die Umwelt wird jetzt ja eh ganz toll was getan mit diesem wundervoll atmosphärischen Energiesparlicht, welches romantische Gefühle schon ab der Abenddämmerung um 21 Uhr (oder 19 Uhr, bitte wahlweise austauschen) aufkommen lässt. Dem Kamin gehört die Zukunft! Aber bitte nur ein unechtes Bärenfell davor, wir sind Tierfreunde und die Kakerlaken und anderes Kleingetier fühlt sich auch auf Kunstfasern wohl. Aber ich schweife schon wieder ab.

Am Samstag, den 05. September 2009 findet im Skullcrusher in Dresden das strom:ton-Festival statt.
Unter dem Motto „Der Strom macht die Musik“ werden KiEw, Heimstatt Yipotash, Maschinenkrieger Kr52 vs. Disraptor, 16 Pad Noise Terrorist, 1979 und Tahktakh es krachen lassen. Die Aftershow-Party bestreiten die Globalnoisemovent Allstars.
Gleichzeitig ist das Event auch ein Jubiläum:
Im Jahre 1999 – 9 Jahre 9 Monate 9 Wochen vor dem strom:ton-Festival – haben Heimstatt Yipotash und KiEw gemeinsam in der Nachtkantine in Dresden gespielt – mehr als ein Grund, das nicht nur an diesem Abend entsprechend zu zelebrieren, sondern zusätzlich auch noch bei der Subfrequencies am 24.10. in Lüneburg erneut beide Acts aufeinandertreffen zu lassen!

Saturday, the 5th of September 2009 the strom:ton festival will happen at Skullcrusher in Dresden, Germany.
Based on the slogan „Der Strom macht die Musik“ (a german play on words and roughly translated as „electricity makes the music“) KiEw, Heimstatt Yipotash, Maschinenkrieger Kr52 vs. Disraptor, 16 Pad Noise Terrorist, 1979 and Tahktakh will supply the power of the night – also the Globalnoisemovent Allstars will spin noisy power tunes at the aftershow party.
Not enough this event is also a special anniversary:
In the year 1999 – 9 years 9 months 9 weeks before the strom:ton festival – Heimstatt Yipotash and KiEw did play together at the Nachtkantine in Dresden – more than a reason to celebrate this special anniversary twice: KiEw and Heimstatt Yipotash will meet up again one month later at the 24th of October 2009 at the Subfrequencies in Lüneburg!

Am Samstag, den 24.10.2009 präsentieren euch Sonic Fiction und kiew.org zum ersten mal die SUBFREQUENCIES in der Garage Lüneburg. Auf zwei Floors werden Techno, Industrial und Drum’n’Bass vereint. Neben einem umfangreichen DJ-Lineup werden zusätzlich die beiden Lüneburger Acts KiEw und 13th Monkey, sowie das Dresdner Projekt Heimstatt Yipotash live zu sehen sein. Für die entsprechende visuelle Untermalung sorgen Aerosol Light Textures und diverse VJs. Die Tickets kosten 9 Euro an der Abendkasse und 7 Euro im Vorverkauf (hier im Webshop bestellbar).

On Saturday, the 24th of October 2009 Sonic Fiction and kiew.org present you for the first time the SUBFREQUENCIES at the Garage in Lüneburg/Germany. You will get a mixture of techno, industrial and drum’n’bass on two floors. Besides a large dj-lineup you will also see (and hear) the projects KiEw and 13th Monkey from Lüneburg and Heimstatt Yipotash from Dresden live on stage. Aerosol Light Textures and several vjs will support the club atmosphere on the visual side. The fee for the tickets will be 9 euros at the doors and 7 euros at the presale (you can order the tickets here in our webshop).

Am nächsten Wochenende, vom 14. bis 17. Mai findet die 2009er Asugabe des Kinetik Festival in Montreal in Kanada statt. Das Festival ist absolut fantastisch und wir haben es sehr genossen, dort letztes Jahr mit KiEw gespielt zu haben.
Um die diesjährige Ausgabe des Festivals gebührend zu feiern haben die Veranstalter Kinetik Productions und der Vertrieb der Festival CD Storming the Base die erste offizielle Kinetik Festival DVD herausgebracht. Mit Live Performances der 2008 Edition des Kinetik Festivals aufgenommen in hoher digitaler Qualität von der eigenen Festival Kameracrew. Auf der DVD bisher unveröffentlichtes Livematerial von The Horrorist, Ascii Disko, Headscan, Funker Vogt, Memmaker, Terrorfakt, Iszoloscope, This Morn‘ Omina, Feindflug, Sonar und vielen anderen – und natürlich auch von KiEw!
Dazu eingefangen die einmalige Festivalatmosphäre mit Backstage Footage, Publikumsaufnahmen und Interviews mit den Bands. Das Ergebnis ist fantastisch und das ganze Drumherum zeigt erneut, das das Kinetik Festival das ist, wo man im Mai sein sollte (wenn man die Zeit und das Geld für den Flug nach Kanada hat)!
Die DVD ist in allen Regionen abspielbar und Widescreen und Dual-Layer. Die Spielzeit beträgt an die 2 Stunden und 30 Minuten mit Liveshows, Interviews und Bonusmaterial. Die DVD ist erschienen auf Kinetik Productions und limitiert auf 800 Stück – sie wird nicht neu aufgelegt.

Next weekend, 14th up to 17th the 2009 edition of the Kinetik Festival will take place in Montreal, Canada. It’s a really fantastic festival and we really enjoyed it to have played there last year with KiEw.
Now to celebrate this year’s edition the makers of the festival Kinetik Productions and their distributors Storming the Base present the first official Kinetik Festival DVD. Featuring live performances from the 2008 edition of the Kinetik Festival captured in high-quality digital imaging by the festival camera crew, the Kinetik Festival DVD is a one-of-a-kind showcase of some of industrial music’s surging talent. The DVD features thunderous performances and previously unavailable footage from The Horrorist, Ascii Disko, Headscan, Funker Vogt, Memmaker, Terrorfakt, Iszoloscope, This Morn‘ Omina, Feindflug, Sonar and countless others – and as you could expect – from KiEw!
You also get a taste of the festival environment with back-stage footage, crowd shots, and artist interviews. The result is superb, the quality is amazing, and the package proves that the Kinetik Festival is the place to be in May in North America (if you have the time and money to fly over)!
The DVD is coded for All Regions, wide-screen viewing, and is a dual-layer disc. Run time is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes of live shows + the interviews and bonus materials. This is a limited edition run of 800 hard copies and will never be reprinted. Released on Kinetik Productions.

ACHTUNG!
Nachdem letzten Samstag leider das Kanonenhaus in Altenburg abgebrannt ist, wird der Elektroanschlag jetzt in zwei Alternativlocations stattfinden. Dadurch ergeben sich einige kleine Änderungen – unter anderem wird Thedi (GNM, KiEw) jetzt am Samstag, den 04.04.09 auflegen (zusammen mit Sputnik und Paradroid), da am Freitag nach den Bands leider keine Party stattfinden kann.

Der EA10 wird in 2 Locations stattfinden – dies war die beste und einzig machbare Variante!
FREITAG – „MUSIC HALL“, Johannisgraben 4, 04600 Altenburg, nähe Brüderkirche/Markt.
SAMSTAG – „TENNE“ der ALTENBURGER BRAUEREI, Brauereistrasse 20, 04600 Altenburg, nähe Bahnhof/Hotel Astor.
Wir werden auf unserer Homepage noch eine Möglichkeit zur Routenplanung einbauen, sicherlich gibt es an beiden Tagen zusätzlich einige EA-Hinweisschilder in Altenburg.
Desweiteren wird es eine kleine Änderung im Line-Up geben. S.K.E.T. wird SAMSTAG nach THIS MORN‘ OMINA auftreten, somit spielen Freitags 8 Acts und Samstag 10, da wir Freitag Nacht spätestens 3:00 Uhr jegliche Beschallung einstellen müssen. Wir bitten dafür um Verständnis.
Auch bezüglich des Merchandiseverkaufs wird es zumindest Freitags Einschränkungen geben, die Music Hall ist nicht wirklich groß.

Das ausgebrannte Kanonenhaus in Altenburg
As the Kanonenhaus in Altenburg burned down last Saturday the Elektroanschlag will now be held in 2 locations. This will lead to small changes – Thedi (GNM, KiEw) will now dj on Saturday, the 04.04.09 (together with Sputnik and Paradroid) as there will be no after show party on Friday.

EA10 will be held in 2 locations – this was the best and only viable option!
FRIDAY – „MUSIC HALL“, Johannisgraben 4, 04600 Altenburg, near the Brüderkirche/Markt.
SATURDAY – „TENNE“ der ALTENBURGER BREWERY, Brauereistrasse 20, 04600 Altenburg, near the Train Station/Hotel Astor.
We will post a route planner on our homepage, as well as several EA-Signs on both days throughout Altenburg.
Furthermore, there will be a small change in the line-up. S.K.E.T. will play Saturday after THIS MORN‘ OMINA. Therefore, there will be 8 Acts Friday and 10 Acts Saturday. This is due to the fact that we are only permitted to play loudly until 3 A.M. at the Music Hall. We ask for your understanding.
Also, regarding the sale of merchandise, there will be restrictions on Friday, simply because the Music Hall is not very big.
