Stationsbericht 26.11.09, Zimmer 72, Patient Matthias Kulcke (kurz: „K“)
Seit dem Abendessen steht K nun bereits mehrere Stunden vor dem Spiegel und stellt sich selber Fragen zu den Liveerfahrungen mit der „Band“ KiEw. Aus seinen Fragen ist zu schließen, dass der Anlass anscheinend das bevorstehende hundertste Konzert sei (eine Recherche in der Folge durchgeführt von Schwester Hildegard hat ergeben, dass tatsächlich am kommenden Samstag eine Gruppentherapiesession angesetzt und diese die mittlerweile hundertste Therapiesitzung mit den Insassen des Zimmmer 72 ist.).
Dabei spricht der Patient K in seine Haarbürste, die er wie ein Mikrofon in der Hand hat und auch seinem Spiegelbild hin hält, wie um dieses zur Antwort aufzufordern. Er spricht die Erwiderungen auch selbst aus. Im Folgenden ein Transkript dieses „Dialoges“, aufgezeichnet durch den diensthabenden Pfleger:
„Welches waren einschneidende Erfahrungen während der vielen KiEw-Konzerte in den letzten 17 Jahren, die ihnen noch heute in Erinnerung sind?“
„Einschneidend,“ (lacht) „das erinnert ja geradezu an gerissene Fixier- oder Gitarrengurte in Moskau, die dann“ (lacht hysterisch) „mit kaputten Klinkekabeln ersetzt werden müssen und im Verlauf von anderthalb Stunden doch ziemlich in die linke Schulter sich eingraben.“ (lacht und lacht, während der Interviewer keine Miene verzieht) „Sie lachen ja überhaupt nicht.“
„Selbstverständlich lache ich, alles andere wäre unmöglich! Gab es denn wenigstens Momente, während derer sie sich zumindest gefühlt haben als wären sie Bruce Springsteen, der gerade ‚Dancing in the Dark‘ performt, so wie in dem gestellten Livevideo auf MTV?“
(lacht absurd vor sich hin) „Da spielen sie sicher auf das Markhallenkonzert und die erste Live-Präsentation von ‚Degenerationsprogramm‘ an, obwohl es damals nicht unsere Art war Frauen auf die Bühne zu holen, als vielmehr ihnen von der Bühne herunter“ (lacht jetzt wirklich so abnorm wie Professor Doktor Feinfinger) „auf die Füße zu springen. Das passiert natürlich, wenn es beim Tanzen zu dunkel ist.“
„Sie haben letzthin, vor nicht ganz 15 Jahren, in der internationalen Presse von Winsen und Umgebung noch einmal bekräftigt, dass sie die Liveauftritte als eine Persiflage auf das Bandsein an sich sehen. Geht ihnen das heute noch immer so, wie stehen (lacht) sie dazu, oder warum sollte das jetzt anders sein und was verschenken sie an ihre kleine Schwester zu Weihnachten?“
(weint) „Ich habe noch kein Geschenk und die Geschäfte machen bald zu. Daher muss ich sie daran erinnern, dass damals zumindest noch Engel mit auf der Bühne standen und das Christkind durchaus Strümpfe auf der Bühne vorgefunden hätte, um da Geschenke hineinzutun. Stattdessen wurde mir nachgesagt ich hätte eine Motorhaube verbeult, was meines Erachtens nicht vergleichbar ist mit der Schäbigkeit des Abrechnungsergebnisses, und das in einem Gotteshaus.“ (kaut traurig auf dem Mikrofon herum)

Since several hours after supper K is standing in front of the mirror and is asking himself questions regarding live show-experience with the band „KiEw„. From his questions it can be deduced that the occasion which has triggered this is the supposedly upcoming one hundredth concert (an inquiry by Sister Hildegard concerning this question has put forth that there is in fact a group therapy session scheduled and it will be session number one hundred with the inmates of room 72).
While doing this the patient K is holding a hairbrush as if talking into a microphone which he also presents to his mirror image, for the answers to be caught on imaginative recording. He also gives the replies himself speaking out loud. The following transcript from this dialogue was written down by the warden on duty:
„Which where experiences in the last 17 years during the many KiEw concerts which represent the cutting edge of live-experience for you?“
„The cutting edge,“ (laughs) „that reminds me of fixation- or guitar-straps in Moscow, which“ (laughs hysterically) „then have to be replaced with broken guitar cable which during one and a half hour really has the tendency to cut into the left shoulder.“ (laughs and laughs while the interviewer shows no facial expressions) „But you aren’t laughing at all.“
„Of course I am laughing, everything else would be impossible! Were there at least any moments in your live, where you felt anything like being Bruce Springsteen, performing ‚Dancing in the Dark‘ as in that fake live video on MTV?“
(laughing absurdly to himself) „You seem to be hinting at the concert in the „Markthalle“ in Hamburg and the first live presentation of „Degenerationsprogramm“, although we didn’t have the habit to invite women onto the stage, but rather we came jumping down“ (laughing in fact so abnormally you could confuse him with professor doctor Feinfinger) „onto their feet. This happens, obviously, when it is too dark for dancing.
„Lately, not yet 15 years ago, you have once again, talking to representatives of the international press of Winsen and surrounding area, put emphasis on the statement that you see live performances as a general persiflage of being in a band. Is that still the case today, what is your stand (laughs) on this issue, or why should that be different now and what will be the present for your little sister for Christmas?“
(cries) „I don’t have a present so far and the shops are closing soon. That is why I have to remind you, back then there were at least angels with us on stage and Santa Claus would certainly have found socks to put presents in. Instead I was accused of denting the hood of a car, something that is not comparable with the lowlyness off the final money-count, and all this happening in a house of God.“ (knawing sadly on the microphone)
